Why Us

At Arnica Art Studio we believe that Visual Arts plays a vital role in enabling creativity, self-expression, regulation, problem-solving skills, and resilience. Through Visual Arts we can build self-confidence, self-awareness, and a greater connection to self and others.

We have designed a range of Creative Options that cater to children, teenagers and adults from individual well-being sessions which draw on Sensorimotor Art Therapy practices to group Art classes to custom-designed workshops.

How It Works

Creative Connections

Wellbeing Support for Students using Visual Arts

Art Classes and Workshops for all ages!

At Arnica Art Studio, we offer after school Art Classes for primary school-aged students to give your child an opportunity to explore a range of visual art opportunities including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, and collage. The emphasis is not just on technique but also on creativity and self-expression whilst utilising their imagination and developing their problem-solving skills. Classes run for an hour and are held at a venue in the Coburg area.

For toddlers/preschoolers and their carers, we run "Creative Mites", a range of art activities/experiences based on a theme to encourage experimentation, motor skill development, self-expression and of course fun! A fabulous bonding experience for you and your child!

From drawing workshops, ceramics to mosaic classes, Arnica Art Studio can also facilitate a range of workshops and activities for children, teenagers, adults, families and friends!

Creative Connections - Wellbeing Support for Students using Visual Arts are sessions tailored specifically for school students (primary or secondary). Our facilitator, Bianca, draws on her extensive experience as a Visual Art educator along with her training in Creative and Sensorimotor Art Therapy to provide students with the opportunity to explore their creativity whilst building self-esteem and resilience in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
