Creative Connections
Wellbeing Support for Students Using Visual Arts
'Creative Connections' provides wellbeing support for school students (primary and secondary) using Sensorimotor and Visual Art experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Individualised programs are designed for each client based on their emotional needs.
Creative Connections uses a range of visual art/art therapy practices to help students:
Develop a positive sense of self and a sense of belonging
Recognise opportunities to implement strategies for not only self-expression but also self-regulation
Build their capacity to reflect on themselves, others and the world we live in
Strengthen their emotional awareness, resilience and social skills
Reflect on their ability to empathise with others
